It has been my observation that a great number of people exist in the world with a deep seated idea that they are not “good enough”. For starters, my question is, “good enough for what or who?” And, why would one choose to identify with such a powerless label? Having pondered this observation for awhile, it appears that the feeling of not being “good enough” comes from a lack of grace. And a lack of grace comes from a lack of gratitude. Consider this: When was the last time you listened to your own heartbeat, paid attention to your own breathing or gave thanks for your eyesight and your ability to hear? Do you take for granted the fact that when you turn a faucet on, water flows from it? Or that the mere flip of a switch can light up an entire room? Do you say Grace before eating a meal?
